Description of song: Omocestus rufipes male calling song generally consists of a typical polysyllabic phrase ( Fig. 8 B). The calling song lasts mostly between 8.9 and 13.5 s. Syllables numbers vary from 150 to 250 in a phrase ( Fig. 8 C). The duration of syllables changes between 55 and 60 ms ( Fig. 8 D).
