Distribution in the Palaearctic region: North Western Anatolia and Macedonia ( Helversen 1989; Şirin 2009; Mol & Zeybekoğlu 2013).

Distribution in the Turkish Thrace: First record for the study area.

Bayram (Calling song recorded from two males at 26 ˚C in the field (by D. Şirin); Geçitağzı, Kocabayırtepe around, 501m a.s.l., N: 41°56.367’ E: 27°19.299’, 31.VII.2013, 8 ♂♂, 9 ♀♀, leg.: D. Description of song: Chorthippus biguttulus euhedickei male calling song generally consists of two different phrases ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 B). The duration of the song varies depending on syllable numbers and gaps. The calling song usually starts with a typical polysyllabic phrase (similar with C. biguttulus biguttulus ) and continues with two similar irregular phrases which have no observable syllables (repeated unit periods). The first phrase comprises 15– 40 syllables ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 C) whose durations generally change between 85 and 110 ms ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 C). The second and third phrases (another type phrases) generally continue with 1–2 s periods ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 D).
