Tityus stigmurus View in CoL complex

Diagnosis: The species of the T. stigmurus complex can be distinguished from those of the T. confluens complex by metasomal segments I–IV yellowish with blackish lateral and ventral spots ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6. T ); metasomal segment V with a blackish ventral stain occupying distal half ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 ; 17C–D); the dorsal lateral carinae of segments II–IV with 1 to 10 posterior spinoid granules of variable size ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6. T ; 13B; 17C–D); absence of the basal lobe in males ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 B; 9B; 11A–B).
