Distribution. Azores, Atlantic West Europe ( Hlavác & Maughan 2013)

Biology. Polyphagous in dead wood of leaved trees and shrubs ( Morris 2002).

Notes. Record from Ukraine in Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera is apparently an error, ‘UK’ instead of ‘GB’, since this species has strict North Atlantic distribution.
