Genus Zammara Amyot & Audinet-Serville, 1843 View in CoL

Type species. Tettigonia tympanum Fabricius 1803a: 40 ( Brazil).

Remarks. Goemans (2016) revised the genus but has yet to publish his results formally. Species of Zammara can be distinguished from all other genera of the Zammarini by the two tarsomeres possessed (Goemans 2010).
