Diagnostic characters. Turreted, slightly cyrtoconoid shell; slightly convex spire whorls; periphery rounded, low on whorls, in a somewhat suprasutural position; oval aperture; adapically twisted columella; outer surface with faint growth lines; orange spiral band just below the periphery of the whorls. Protoconch: heterostrophic, globose, low-spired (type B sensu Van Aartsen 1987), transaxial; 2.25 whorls; diameter about 270 µm; surface smooth; transition to the teleoconch marked by a simple lip.

Occurrence. Box-corer sample BC72 (1 specimen). Height: 5 mm.

Distribution and habitat. Eulimella unifasciata is widely distributed on both sides of the northern Atlantic and in the Mediterranean, in the 100–700 m bathymetric interval ( Nordsieck 1972; Van Aartsen 1994; Van Aartsen et al. 1998; Pons-Moyà & Pons 1999).

Fossil record. None recorded.
