domingensis Saussure & Humbert, 1872: 176 View in CoL [ Spirobolus View in CoL ].

Substitute name for Julus haitensis Saussure, 1860 (the two specimens described by Saussure as Julus haitensis Gervais, 1847 were in fact a different species). The MHNG collection has one ♂ syntype in alcohol under the name Alcimbolus dominguensis , erroneously labelled as the holotype by Mauriès in 1980. The whereabouts of the second syntype is unknown.
