Eumenes (Afreumenes) melanosoma var. erythrosoma Giordani Soika 1940: 283 View in CoL , ♂, ♀ —“Galla e Sidamo: Lago Margherita, sotto Soddu” (lectotype MCST).

Material examined. TANZANIA: SE edge Ruaha , lodge Mkwawa, 13–17.XII.2014, leg. S. Prepsl, 1♀ ( MSVI) .

Distribution. Democratic Republic of Congo; Ethiopia; Kenya; Rwanda; Uganda; Zambia ( Carpenter et al. 2009). First record from Tanzania.
