Record as epibiont on cnidarians: This species was reported as epibiont on marine hydroid, Plumularia sp. , collected inthe San Juan Archipelago, Washington, US ( Thompson & Berger 1965).

Record on other hosts: This species was found within the mantle cavity of farmed scallop Argopecten irradians (Lamarck, 1819) from an open off-shore maricultural pond for mollusc-farming near Qingdao, China ( Song et al. 2002).
