Paracineta anisostyla View in CoL (Fernandez-Leborans & del Arco, 1996)

Record as epibiont on cnidarians: Fernandez-Leborans & Gómez del Arco (1996) reported the species as Corynophrya anisostyla , epibiont on the hydrozoan Dicoryne conferta (Alder, 1856) , which was found on gastropod shells inhabited by the hermit-crab Pagurus bernhardus (Linnaeus, 1758) from the west coast of Scotland.

Record as epibiont on other hosts: This species has been described on the hermit crabs Paguristes eremita (Linnaeus, 1767) (reported as Pagurus oculatus ), P. prideaux Leach, 1815 , and on the brachyura Goneplax romboides (Linnaeus, 1758) and Liocarcinus maculates (Risso, 1827) , from the Catalonian coast of the Mediterranean Sea (Fernandez- Leborans & Gómez del Arco 1996).

Remarks: Corynophrya anisostyla Fernandez-Leborans & del Arco, 1996 was transferred into the genus Paracineta Collin, 1912 by Dovgal (2002) on the basis of presence of lorica in this species.
