Record as epibiont on cnidarias: This species was reportedas epibiont on Cordylophora caspia from Kiel Bay, the North Sea ( Precht 1935).
Record on other hosts/substrata: This species was reported (under name Cothurnia socialis Gruber, 1880 ) on algae and animals, attached to the glass walls of aquarium with water from the North Sea ( Gruber 1880).
