Type locality: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro
Distribution. Indian records: Central Himalaya ( Sanyal et al. 2018). Global records: Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) ( Hampson 1895 [1896]).
Remark: With the type locality and distributional record, the Indian distribution of this species seems to be doubtful.
