Type locality: Ceylon [ Sri Lanka], Uva, 3000 ft
Distribution. Indian records: India ( Robinson et al. 1994, G. Leraut 2019). Global records: Sumatra ( Roesler 1983), Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Sumatra, Brunei, Sabah, Philippines, New Guinea ( Robinson et al. 1994), Borneo ( Sutton et al. 2015), Sri Lanka, China ( Hong Kong), Myanmar (Tenasserim), Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia (G. Leraut 2019).
