Global records: West Indes, Brazil, Britain, Germany, Sicily, Corcyra , Bulgaria, Seychelles, Asia Minor , Bithynia, Ceylon, Java, Christmas I., Cocos, Keeling I. , North Australia ( Hampson 1917a), worldwide, able to exist outside its natural tropic range as a household pest, SE Asia ( Thailand, West Malaysia, Java, Brunei, Sarawak, lowland) ( Robinson et al. 1994), Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka ( Arora 2000), Borneo ( Sutton et al. 2015), New Guinea ( Das et al. 2020b).
