Morphology. Holotype, ♀, body length 7.8 mm, fore wing length 6.2 mm, antenna 9.1 mm ( Fig. 68 View FIGURES 68–77 ).

Head. Antenna with 52 flagellomeres; middle antennomeres 2.7 × longer than wide (8: 3); 3 rd antennomere 1.1 × fourth (10: 9); 3 rd segment of maxillary palp 4.0 × longer than maximally wide (12: 3); 5 th segment as long as 6 th; width of face 1.2 × length of face and clypeus combined (20: 17); width of face: height of eye = 2.0: 2.7; malar space 1.6 × as long as basal width of mandible (8: 5); basal width of mandible 0.5 × as long as hypoclypeal depression (8: 15); distance between tentorial pits 3.7 × distance between pit and eye (11: 3) ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES 68–77 ); in dorsal view, height of eye 2.85× as long as temple (20: 7); in lateral view, width of eye 2.0 × as long as temple (16: 8) ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 68–77 ); ocelli large, POL: OD: OOL = 3: 6: 3; distance between front and hind ocelli as long as OOL (3: 3) ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 68–77 ); occipital carina narrowly obliterated medio-dorsally; face rugulose ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES 68–77 ); frons flat, coriaceous medially, with sparse convergent striae laterally ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 68–77 ); vertex and temple almost smooth.

Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 1.5 × as long as high (60: 41); precoxal sulcus smooth, sparsely crenulate anteriorly; precoxal sulcus short, coriaceous; mesopleuron smooth; metapleuron rugo-punctate; mesoscutum coriaceous with a smooth medial depression posteriorly between notauli ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 68–77 ); notauli narrow and deep anteriorly, flat posteriorly; scutellar sulcus 0.4 × as long as scutellum (6: 14) with one carina; scutellum smooth; propodeum short with basal carina, coriaceous laterally, with narrow median depression, which crenulate posteriorly ( Fig. 72 View FIGURES 68–77 ).

Fore wing. Pterostigma 4.75 × as long as wide (57: 12); vein M+CU1 distinctly weakly curved subapically; vein cu-a postfurcal; vein r arising far before middle of pterostigma; vein cu-a reclivious ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 68–77 ), 2-CU1 6.0 × longer than 1-CU1; SR1: 3-SR: r = 49: 37: 12; vein 2-SR 4.5 × 2-SR+M (18: 4); 1-CU1: cu-a: 2-CU1: 3-CU1 = 6: 8: 36: 7; basal length of second submarginal cell 3.5 × as long as its apical width (49: 14).

Hind wing: Vein M+CU 1.15 × length of 1-M (31: 27); M+CU: 1-M: 1r-m = 31: 27: 16; vein 2-SC+ R quadrate ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 68–77 ); vein SR almost straight throughout.

Legs. Hind coxa shiny smooth; femur: tibia: basitarsus: tarsus 1–5 = 60: 76: 45: 102; length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 6.0, 10.85 and 15.0 × as long as their width respectively; middle tibial spur curved and outer side setose basally; apex of hind tibia with comb of specialized setae at inner side.

Metasoma. First tergite 1.8 × apical width (51: 29); first tergite with midlongitudinal carina on basal 0.85 (35: 41) of tergite, rugo-striate ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 68–77 ); 2 nd metasomal tergite with small midbasal triangular area giving rise to sinuate longitudinal carina ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 68–77 ); 2 nd tergite 1.3 × its basal width (38: 30), midlongitudinal carina on basal 0.8 (30: 38) of tergite, and 1.3 × 3 rd tergite (38: 29); 2 nd metasomal tergite 0.8 × wider than medially long (30: 38), with longitudinally striate with approximately 7 striae lateral to midlongitudinal carina; 3 rd metasomal tergite 0.7 × its basal width (29: 41), rugo-striate, rugo-punctate extremely apically ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 68–77 ); fourth tergite finely rugo-striate basally, sparsely punctate apically; fifth-sixth tergites sparsely punctate; hypopygium evenly convex with sparse setae ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 68–77 ); ovipositor sheath obiquely setose; ovipositor smooth apically, with three ventral teeth subapically distal to apex ( Fig. 71 View FIGURES 68–77 ).

Coloration. Body yellow; antenna and palpi pale yellow; stemmaticum black; pterostigma brownish yellow medially, pale yellow basally and apically; wing membrane hyaline, smoky yellow apically and surrounding wing veins ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 68–77 ).

Male. (Paratype): Antenna with 47–49 antennomeres; body length 5.3–6.5 mm; fore wing 4.6–5.1 mm; 3 rd segment of maxillary palp 1.5 × longer than maximally wide (12: 8); 5 th segment 0.9 × length of 6 th ( Fig. 83 View FIGURES 78–83 ); width of face: height of eye = 1.6: 2.4; fore wing vein 2-SR 4.7 × 2-SR+M ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 78–83 ); second submarginal cell elongate, basal length 3.5 × as long as its apical width ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 78–83 ); hind wing vein 2-SC+ R quadrate or subquadrate ( Fig. 79 View FIGURES 78–83 ); second-third metasomal tergites sparsely striate ( Figs 80, 81 View FIGURES 78–83 ).

Etymology. The new species is named after the country ( Vietnam), where the holotype was discovered.

Biology. Unknown.
