DIAGNOSIS. — Because of general appearance and distinct honey smell, this species is in the field very reminiscent of the European Inosperma melliolens , but sequence data place it in a different, old world subclade of the genus.

HOLOTYPE. — Zambia. In miombo woodland along road Luanshya- Ibenga, 31.I.1996, EG96080 = BB6269 (PC[PC0088778]!, holo-)
