Remarks. Allokepon hendersoni was recorded on Thalamita callianassa from India. The present specimens, especially the females, are very similar to the type specimens ( Giard & Bonnier, 1887). The females have a bilobate head, no coxal plates and a posteriorly directed posterolateral projection on the first oostegite ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 G, H), while the males have midventral tubercles not only on the seven pereomeres but on the pleomeres ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 M). The males differ slightly from the allotype male, in having midventral tubercles on the first two pleomeres. This is the second time the species is found and the first record of Charybdis bimaculata as hosts for a bopyrid isopod.

Distribution and hosts. India, on Thalamita callianassa ; China, on Charybdis bimaculata .
