Plateros sp. #2 ( Malaysia)

Differential diagnosis. Sp. #2 differs in the absence of eyes (figure 74) and, therefore, also in absence of an incision in the frontolateral part of epicranium, in having four setae at posterior margin of T2, 10 setae at outer margin of laterotergites T2 and, generally, six setae at the posterior margin of sternites A1–A8.

Measurements. BL 6.8 mm, total width of pronotal tergites 0.65 mm, PL 0.90 mm.

Material examined. Malaysia, Cameroon Highlands , Tanah Rata, 1650 m, iii.1998, Bolm lgt., one medium instar larva ( LMBC) .
