Type material: Holotype: male from Rio Tarumã-Mirim, Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil (03º01’S, 60º09’W), 5 August 1979, J. Adis ( IBSP 67110).

Etymology. The specific name is given in honour of the collector of the holotype. Noun (name) in genitive case.

Diagnosis. This species is very similar to both K. paulista sp. nov. and K. vochysiae sp. nov. by the embolus curving far from the tegulum, but differs from the latter by having a stout RTA with the tip abruptly curved dorsally ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 23 – 28. K ).

Description. Male holotype: Total length: 2.75. General coloration as in K. paulista sp. nov. Carapace 1.27 long, 0.75 wide, 0.45 high. Ocular quadrangle 0.67 long. Anterior eye row 0.75 wide and posterior 0.72 wide. Palp with a stout RTA, posterior portion of the tegulum projected and embolus curving far from the tegulum ( Figs 25–26 View FIGURES 23 – 28. K ). Legs poorly preserved.

Female: Unknown.

Remarks. Since females are still unknown, this species is tentatively included in the genus based on similarities between the male and males of other species of Kupiuka .

Distribution. Known only from the State of Amazonas, Brazil.
