1 Elytra strongly elongated (about 3 x longer than wide), covered with very coarse punctures and numerous black spots ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ). Punctures on elytra much larger than those on pronotum................................... L. nigropunctatus View in CoL sp. nov.

- Elytra not strongly elongated (up to 2.5 x longer than wide) and punctures on elytra fine or coarse, but only slightly larger than those on pronotum.................................................................................... 2

2 (1) Carinae on elytra weak, with no trace of tufts of hair or tufted tubercles.
