( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 F, 5D̄E, 11)

Hallodapus linnavuorii Miyamoto, 1966: 433 View in CoL (n. sp.); Schuh, 1995: 225 (cat.); Kerzhner & Josifov, 1999: 292 (cat.); Yasunaga, 2001: 153 (diag.); Vinokurov et al., 2010: 126 (cat.); Duwal et al., 2016: 105 (cat.); Yasunaga et al., 2016: 385 (cat.).

Diagnosis. Recognized by its orange-brown or brown body, with shining head and pronotum; brown hemelytron with two white transverse maculae: anterior wide transverse macula obscure on claval commissure and posterior quadrate macula adjacent to the cuneal fracture; pale antennae and tibiae, reddish antennal segment I provided with a white longitudinal stripe ventrally; and form of male genital structures ( Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5 D̄E, 11). For detailed description see Miyamoto (1966: 433̄436; figs. 14̄16).

Two teneral specimens were suspected to be a new species because they were relatively smaller than the usual size of H. linnavuorii , and bear pale appendages with red stripes on antennal segment I and the femora. But on further observation of the male genital structures, they were found to be H. linnavuorii . The female specimens are mostly brachypterous and thus the length apex cuneal fracture was measured between apices of clypeus to corium.

Measurements. (♂ / ♀) (n= 5/3). Body length 2.25̄2.35/ 2.00̄2.06; length from apex of tylus to cuneal fracture 1.98̄2.4/ 1.88̄1.90; width of head across eyes 0.40̄0.42/ 0.41̄0.42; width of vertex 0.22̄0.24/ 0.26̄0.28; lengths of antennal segments ĪIV 0.22̄0.24, 0.70̄0.78, 0.66̄0.74, 0.44̄0.50/ 0.22, 0.80̄0.82, 0.7̄0.72, 0.46̄0.48; length of labium 1.09̄1.14/ 1.16; mesal length of pronotum 0.30̄0.32/ 0.30̄0.32; basal width of pronotum 0.62̄0.69/ 0.50̄0.52; width across hemelytron 0.68̄0.72/ 0.91̄0.94; length of metafemora, tibiae and tarsus 0.89̄0.92, 1.10̄1.18, 0.30̄0.32/ 0.88̄0.90, 1.14̄1.18, 0.3̄0.35.
