Hallodapus kyushuensis Miyamoto, 1966: 436 View in CoL (n. sp.); Schuh, 1984: 126 (note); Kerzhner & Josifov: 293 (cat.); Yasunaga, 2001: 153 (diag.); Mu et al., 2012: 139 (diag., MG); Yasunaga et al., 2016: 385 (cat.).

Diagnosis. Recognized by its larger sized body and long appendages; yellow longitudinal stripe on inner lateral side of antennal segment I; wide and exposed mesoscutum and scutellum, with dark lateral margins and rough surface; broad white transverse band of hemelytron obscure on claval commissure; reddish brown cuneus; and form of male genital structures. This species is superficially very similar to H. albofasciatus , or H. linnavuori , but can be easily distinguished by its larger body and form of male genital structures ( Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5 C, 10I ̄P). Measurements. (♂) (n= 2). Body length 3.10̄3.20; length from apex of tylus to cuneal fracture 2.56̄2.70; width of head across eyes 0.51̄0.52; width of vertex 0.28; lengths of antennal segments ĪIV 0.36̄0.39, 1.00̄1.01, 0.92,?; length of labium 1.20̄1.22; mesal length of pronotum 0.36̄0.38; basal width of pronotum 0.80̄0.82; width across hemelytron 1.01̄1.02; length of metafemora, tibiae and tarsus 1.08̄1.10, 1.60, 0.38.

Distribution. China, Japan (Shikoku, Kyushu, Ryukyus). ( Miyamoto, 1966; Mu et al., 2012; Yasunaga et al., 2016).
