Type species: Undophomorpha glauctata sp. nov.

Robust, olivaceous to yellow. Head wider than pronotum. Coronal suture short, crown finely rugose, with median length slightly longer than length next to eyes. Face slightly wider than long; lateral frontal sutures strongly curved before reaching ocelli; ocelli closer to eyes than to midline and near midheight of eyes in facial view; gena lateral margin slightly concave, with short seta adjacent to corresponding eye; lora broad; rostrum apical half broad, not reaching hind coxae; anteclypeus abruptly widened near apex, lateral margin concave; ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Pronotum anterior and posterior margin very slightly curved, shagreen. Combined length of mesoscutum and scutellum longer than pronotum ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Forewing with 4 apical and 2 subapical cells, m-cu1 vein and r-m1 crossveins present, outer apical cell largest; clavus with two veins poorly delimited ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Fore femur with few short and fine setae. Fore tibia with dense stout and long AV and PV setae on distal half, several fine and long setae on basal half. Hind tibia with 18–20 setae on row PD, 7 setae on AD and 7 setae on apical half of AV. Hind femur with 2+1 apical setae. Hind basitarsus with two platellae.

Male genitalia. Male pygofer dorsal margin with large apodeme; triangularly produced posteriorly. Segment X with pair of basolateral processes extended ventrad into genital capsule ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Connective fused with aedeagus. Style articulated directly to base of fused connective/aedeagus, slender, slightly curved dorsad distally, apical half with short setae on dorsal margin, apex narrow and bluntly rounded ( Fig. 5D View FIGURE 5 ). Aedeagal shaft long and moderately slender in lateral view, compressed, apex bifurcate, very slender in posterior view, gonopore between dorsal and ventral apical extensions of shaft; dorsal apodeme V-shaped in ventral view ( Figs. 5B–C View FIGURE 5 ).

Distribution. Malaysia ( Sarawak).

Etymology. The generic name is an arbitrary combination of letters. The gender is feminine.

Remarks. This new genus can be distinguished from other idiocerine genera by the connective fused with the aedeagus, and gonopore situated in a deep distal cleft of the shaft.
