Diagnosis and comments. Body color black. Scutum black with two parallel longitudinal yellowish stripes. Scutellum black with black hairs on the distal margin. Pleura with long abundant black hairs. Wing infuscated orange. Abdomen black. Tergites 2 and 3 each with a pair of lateral small whitish spots, not reaching the margin ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 16 – 20 ). Tergite 4 without spots. P. hualqui is close to P. longicauda as both species have the pleura and the distal margin of scutellum with black hairs. However, it differs in that the white spots on the tergites and sternites are smaller, tergites 3 and 4 without white spots, and sternites 3 and 4 without lateral white spots. It is also is close to P. xanthopleura but differs in the color of the pleural hairs.
