Habitat and distribution in Iran: Kerman Province, Jiroft, soil and litter at the base of Phoenix dactylifera L. and Citrus sinensis (L.); Esfahan Province, soil ( Kadkhodaei et al., 2013; Hajizadeh et al., 2017; Nemati et al., 2018).

World Distribution: Philippine and Iran. Holotype for P. angustatus : Philippines, Palawan Island, Olanguan Falls, litter in tropical rainforest. For I. jiroftensis : Iran, Jiroft City, Kerman Province, soil and litter at the base of Phoenix dactylifera ( Quintero-Gutiérrez & Halliday, 2021) .

Note: This species was described in the genus Indutolaelaps Karg, 1997 (Leptolaelapidae) ( Hajizadeh et al., 2017), but Quintero-Gutiérrez et al. (2020) synonymised Indutolaelaps jiroftensis Hajizadeh et al., 2017 with Krantzolaspina angustatus ( Ishikawa, 1987) .
