World Distribution: Iran, Tehran, collected from soil. Type depository not stated ( Quintero-Gutiérrez & Halliday, 2021) .

Note: Quintero-Gutiérrez & Halliday (2021) pointed out that Holaspina persicum is a nomen nudum because the authors did not say where the types are deposited (ICZN Article 16.4.2). It is therefore excluded from the key to Parholaspididae species of Iran. It may be a synonym of Parholaspulus alstoni Evans, 1956 .
