Male (redescribed). Body medium. Face with scattered impressed dots. Fastigium verticis about 2.1 times as wide as the scape. Eyes oval, median ocellus distinct. Anterior margin of pronotum projected in the middle, posterior margin almost truncate; lateral lobes longer than high. Wings reaching the basal area of eighth abdominal tergite, hind wings slightly longer than tegmina. Tegmina ( Fig. 10G–H View FIGURE 10 ): Radius gives rise to RS in subapical area; media anterior free from base, undivided; cubitus anterior divides into two branches about middle of tegmen, CuA1 and CuA2; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 3 anal veins. Fore coxae with 1 small spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces; hind femora with 11 internal and 7–8 external spines on ventral surface. Fore and middle tibiae ventrally with 4 pairs of spines and 1 pair of apical spines, the second and third pairs of ones slightly longer than others; middle tibiae with 1 interno-apical spine on dorsal surface; hind tibiae with 4–5 internal and 6 external spines on dorsal surface, subapical area with 1 pair of ventral spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spines and 2 pairs of ventral spines. Second and third abdominal tergites with 2 rows of stridulatory pegs separately ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ). Eighth abdominal tergite prolonged and curved ventrad. Ninth abdominal tergite globular, ventral margin with 1 pair of small hooks which almost connected each other, basal areas of the processes stout and terminating into apices, its apices directing forward ( Fig. 3E–F View FIGURE 3 ). Tenth abdominal tergite narrow, middle area split. Cerci slender, conical. Subgenital plate longer than wide, basal area wide, lateral margins convex and obviously constricted about apical third area, apical area trapezoidal projected, posterior margin faintly concave ( Fig. 3F View FIGURE 3 ). Styli long, inserted at the lateral constriction.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Pronotum with black margins which widened at anterior and posterior margins ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ). Spines of hind tibiae blackish. Dorsal surface of abdomen black ( Fig. 11F View FIGURE 11 ).

Female (from Longsheng, Guangxi). Wings reaching the basal or middle area of seventh abdominal tergite. Tegmina ( Fig. 10 A–B View FIGURE 10 ): Radius releases RS in subapical area; media anterior free from base; cubitus anterior divides into two branches about basal four-tenths of tegmen, the first branch makes a curvature and receives a very short oblique connection vein from MA and shortly after divides again into two branches, MP and CuA1, while the posterior branch (CuA2) does not divide further; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 3 anal veins. Hind femora with11–12 internal and 6–9 external spines on ventral surface; tibiae with 5–7 internal and 6 external spines on ventral surface.
