Material examined: BR, MG, Ouro Preto, Estação Ecológica de Tripuí, Córrego Botafogo (S20°22'9.28" W43°33'6.15"), 8 males and 1 female, 25.xi.2001, RWH, HP, RJB; São Gonçalo do Rio Preto, Parque Estadual do Rio Preto, small stream near park entrance (S18°5'43.10" W43°20'51.30"), 1 male and 1 female, 14.xi.2001, HP.
Remarks: Comments about this species can be found in Froehlich (1998). The adult males studied here have a forewing length of 7.4–8.1 mm and female of 9.9 mm.
