Previous records. Taiwan ( Chamberlin & Wang 1952).
Remarks. It also known from Turkey ( Attems, 1905) and Israel ( Verhoeff, 1941). Zapparoli (1991) established that Lithobius (Pleurolithobius) argaeensis is a junior synonym of Lithobius parvicornis . Zapparoli (2006) placed parvicornis in Lithobius (Ezembius) . Chamberlin and Wang (1952) had examined two female specimens that Takakuwa taken in Taiwan of China and confirmed they were Monotarsobius argαeensis. However, the presence of this species in Taiwan is unreliable, unless accidentally introduced by man.
