Previous records. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (“Hohle Nyu – Jie bei dem nahe der Grenze gegen Vietnam zu liegenden Ortes Pulung”) ( Loksa, 1959).
Remarks. Only known from China. Loksa’s original description of this species was based on single male specimen from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Eason (1978) moved tetrophthalmus to Australobius .
