General Distribution: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey ( Löbl and Löbl 2016).
Distribution in Turkey: Niehuis (1989) listed it from Antalya (Kekova, Termessos, Topraktepe), Bingöl (Solhan, Buğlan Pass), Gaziantep, Hatay (Musa Mountain), Içel (Mut- Sertavul Pass, Tarsus), and Tunceli. Lodos and Tezcan (1992) reported it from Izmir (Bornova, Selçuk). The data presented here constitute the first record of this species in both Diyarbakir (Çüngüş) and Mardin (Mazidaği).
Larval Host Plants: Cupressus spp. ( Cupressaceae ), Quercus brantii Lindl. , Quercus ithaburensis Decne. , Quercus spp. ( Fagaceae ), Ficus carica L. ( Moraceae ) ( Volkovitsh 2021); V. vinifera represents a new host record.
Notes. The species was reared from old V. vinifera branches of the Mazrone variety.
