Type species. Bacharaboilus mongolicus Gorochov 1988

Type horizon and locality. Middle Jurassic, Bakhar, Mongolia.

Revised diagnosis. For male forewing, posterior wing margin posteriorly bowed in its basal half, ScA slightly curved, reaching anterior margin before the middle length of forewing, area between base of RP and MA markedly broad, RP basally curved.
