Generic diagnosis. Trigonorhinus View in CoL can be recognized by the basal, transverse pronotal carina, notched eyes, rostrum narrowing apically with apical corners emarginate so that the rostral center is longer than the sides, and by the separate lobes of all 3 rd tarsomeres.
