Type material. Holotype: ♂, CHINA : Yunnan Province: Dali, Weibao Mountain , 21. xii. 2001, coll. Qiang Sun ; Paratype: 1♀, same data as holotype .

Description. Colour. Yellow green. Frontoclypeus pale brown. Ocelli pale yellow. Eyes brown with a white line medially. Forewings hyaline and veins pale.

Body length, male 5.6 mm to the tip of forewing, female 5.5–6.0 mm to the tip of forewing, 6.2–6.8 mm to end of ovipositor. Vertex wide triangular, apically subangular in male, broadly rounded in female. Ocellus close to corresponding eye. Measurements of vertex length: interocular width: pronotal length (mm): male 0.68: 1.0: 0.64, female 0.72: 1.1: 0.72. Pronotum slightly wider than head.

Male genitalia: Subgenital plates with 4 setae laterally. Pygofer side slightly rounded apically. Aedeagus with two pairs of terminal processes, apical pair projecting dorsally, short and slender; subapical pair about 1/3 as long as shaft, wider, longer, flattened, tapering apically, curving anteriorly; gonopore subapical; dorsal apodeme reduced.

Female genitalia: Ovipositor extending beyond pygofer 1.5x its width. Seventh sternum medially notched with small triangular projection.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality.

Remarks. This species resembles T. gressitti , but the latter has the subapical terminal processes of the aedeagus slender and long, about 1/2 to 2/3 as long as the shaft, the dorsal apodeme little developed, and female sternum seven with a medial projection and lateral notch.
