Monte, Prepuna. Status: Native. Vouchers: Barboza et al. 2804, 3252 & 3290 (CORD); Hosseus 25 (CORD); J.H. Hunziker 1984 (CORD); Kurtz 13452, 13646, 14052, 14946, 15049, 15207 & 15504 (CORD); Zuloaga et al. 12031 (SI).
