Remarks: This specimen may be the holotype of Microtrombicula nadchatrami Vercammen-Grandjean, 1965 , which has the same collection data, including number (Vercammen-Grandjean 1965a), and is close to Microtrombicula munda ( Gater, 1932) . According to the original description and Goff (1989), the holotype of M. nadchatrami is preserved in USNM; probably, this statement is wrong. Note, that M. nadchatrami was described from 6 specimens, and 6 specimens labeled as “ Microtrombicula paramunda ” are present in MHNG.
