Distribution within Iran. Mazandaran (Jelínek 1981; Audisio et al. 2000), Northern Iran (no locality cited) (Kirejtshuk 1977 under “ M. laeti ”; Audisio 1978; Audisio et al. 2000).

Distribution outside Iran. Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy (Sicily), Libya, Russia, Tunisia.

Lamiogethes medvedevi (Kirejtshuk, 1978)

Material examined. Golestan, 20 km NW Dasht (loc.no. 376), 530 m, 19.-21. vi.1977, 1 male, (NMPC), (third Czechoslovak-Iranian expedition to Iran 1977). New Iranian record.

Distribution outside Iran. Georgia, Russia, Turkey.
