Tetranychus gloveri Banks, 1900: 76 .

Specimens examined: five females, two males, coll. J. Etienne, Ravine Chaude, Lamentin, Guadeloupe, 3 June 2002, on leaves of Tagetes sp. ( Asteraceae ); five females, three males, coll. J. Etienne, Capesterre Belle Eau, Guadeloupe, 12 July 2002, on banana leaves, Musa sp. ( Musaceae ).

This species was recorded previously from several other host plants in Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin and Les Saintes ( Flechtmann et al., 1999a).
