Distribution

This genus is recorded from Saudi Arabia for the first time. Chrysotus suavis was described from Germany and Hungary and is further recorded from many countries of the Palaearctic Region including Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Morocco and Turkey; it is excluded from the Afrotropical Region ( DR Congo) by Grichanov (2018).
