Diagnosis: Test composed of prominent quartz particles; brown, hemispherical; aperture circular, surrounded by small sand particles; diameter of shell 81-118 µm.
Distribution in India: Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu (present record), West Bengal.
