Diagnosis (based on description by Fain & Whitaker [1975]). FEMALE ( Fig. 45 View FIGURE 45 ). Subcapitular setae m with 3 tines. Setae vi shorter and subequal in width to e2. Setae e1 and f1 narrow lanceolate. Distances c1-d1 and d1-d2 subequal. Vulvar region without ornamentation. Setae ps3 distinctly developed, slightly curved. Setae ag1 slightly shorter than ag2. Setae 1b and 1d slightly thicker than 1a. Setae 2b whip-like, much longer than 2a and 3a. Trochanter I with weakly developed ventral projection and without tubercles. Measurements of holotype ( Fain & Whitaker 1975): body, including gnathosoma, 400 long, 210 maximum wide. Lengths of setae: vi 63, ve 100, si 135, se 105, c1 63, c2 105, d1 75, d2 78, e1 54, e2 69, 2a -3a 21-24, 4a 35.

MALE ( Figs. 46 View FIGURE 46 ). Subcapitular setae m membranous lanceolate, pointed apically. Genital cone slightly elongated, length/width ratio 1.5:1, with straight lateral margins without projections. Bases of setae vi situated anterior to setae ps2. Setae e2 about 2 times longer than f1. Posterior end of opisthosoma without tubercles. Setae 2b whiplike, much longer than 2a and 3a. Trochanter I not figured. Measurements of paratype ( Fain & Whitaker [1975]): body, including gnathosoma, 285 long, 160 maximum wide. Aedeagus 120 long. Lengths of setae: ve 90, se 105, c2 120.

FEMALE TRITONYMPH. Unknown.

Type host and locality. Arborimus longicaudatus from USA (Oregon) .

Hosts and distribution. No records since the original description.

Type deposition. Radfordia arborimus —USNM, female holotype (not examined).
