Regional distribution. Golestan (Gorgan) ( Samin et al. 2015) , Guilan (Rasht) ( Ghahari et al. 2008a) , Ispahan [sic! = Isfahan] ( Wittmer 1970) , Mazandaran (Amol, Ghaemshahr, Savadkooh) (Ghahari & Tabari 2008, 2010, Ghahari et al. 2008a, b, Sakenin et al. 2008).

General distribution. Endemic species for Iranian fauna.

Comments. C. benardi is an egg predator of Lepidoptera in rice fields (Ghahari & Tabari 2008, 2010; Ghahari et al. 2008b).
