Uchida 1930: 131, Polyrhysia , lectotype ♀: South Korea, Su-Won (=Suigen), ex: Diprion sp. (Mus. Sapporo). Clausen 1932: 49, 59 (biology, ex: Periclista sp.). Kim 1957: 24 ( Synoecetes ). Townes et al. 1965: 105 ( Monoblastus , lectotype, bibliography). Kasparyan 1973: 192, 196 (key, description); Kasparyan & Tolkanitz 1999: 264, 266, 287 (key, fig.).

Remarks. In the YNU collection, 1 ♀ and 1 ♂ identified as M. clauseni actually belong to M. nigriventus Lee & Cha.
