TYPE LOCALITY: Sri Lanka, Central Province, near Nuwara Eliya, Hakgala .

DISTRIBUTION: Central highlands of Sri Lanka.

STATUS: Species rare and little-known.

COMMENTS: Inhabits "virgin forest" in the mountains of C Sri Lanka ( Phillips, 1980).
