TYPE LOCALITY: Kenya, " Voi, British East Africa " .

DISTRIBUTION: Sudan savanna from Kenya and Somalia to Ethiopia and Sudan; single records from Nigeria and Mali.

SYNONYMS: aridula, butteri, percivali (see Hutterer, 1986a).
