TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico, Baja California Sur, Coronados Island, 26°06'N, 111°18'W GoogleMaps .
DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.
COMMENTS: Tentatively allocated to crinitus species group by Hooper (1968b); affinities to P. eremicus asserted by Lawlor (1971a) and believed derived therefrom ( Lawlor, 1983). P. eremicus species group.
