TYPE LOCALITY: China, Qinghai .
DISTRIBUTION: From Qinghai Prov. to W Mongolia.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Pallasiinus , oeconomus species group sensu Zagorodnyuk (1990) . Formerly included in M. oeconomus but separated as a species parapatric with M. oeconomus in W Mongolia ( Malygin et al., 1990, and references therein).
