TYPE LOCALITY: Yugoslavia, Montenegro, Vranici .

DISTRIBUTION: From S coastal Yugoslavia into Greece (including Evvoia Isl); see map in Niethammer (1982k).

SYNONYMS: atticus .

COMMENTS: Subgenus Terricola , duodecimcostatus species group sensu Chaline et al. (1988) or a member of its own species group sensu Zagorodnyuk (1990) . Reviewed by Corbet (1978c) and Niethammer (1982k); chromosomal information summarized by Zima and Krâl (1984a).
