MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Fiji. MUSORSTOM 10: stn DW 1365 , S of Viti Levu , 18°13’S, 178°32’E, 295-302 m, 1 dd GoogleMaps .

DISTRIBUTION. — Found only in Fiji (Fig. 94), in 295-302 m.

DESCRIPTION. — Shell morphology. Length 2.5 mm, width 1.8 mm (single specimen examined). Shell solid, oval, with convex sides, narrower posteriorly (Fig. 93I). Only 1 whorl visible, forming the entire shell. Apex rounded, depressed, slightly umbilicate (Fig. 93H), with the aperture lip rising slightly from the left side. Anterior end of the shell rounded. Umbilicus narrow. Aperture long, wide anteriorly, narrowing abruptly at about 1/2 of its length. Columellar margin slightly thickened. Sculpture of 8 irregular spiral grooves (Fig. 93J) near the posterior end and 12 near the anterior end, absent from the middle area of the shell. Colour uniformly whitish.

Anatomy. Unknown. All shells collected lacked soft parts.

REMARKS. — This species differs from Micratys wareni n. sp., Micratys ovum Habe, 1952 and Micratys sp. 1 in having an oval shell with the anterior end shorter and more rounded. It is likely that it is an undescribed species, but it is not named here because of the lack of anatomical information. It is provisionally placed in the genus Micratys because of the presence of a small apical perforation, a well-developed umbilicus and spiral striations near the anterior and posterior ends of the shell.
