MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Philippines. MUSORSTOM 3: stn DR 93 , 13°49’N, 120°02’E, 540 m, 1 dd GoogleMaps .

DISTRIBUTION. — Single specimen examined collected in the Philippines (Fig. 47), in 540 m.

DESCRIPTION. — Shell morphology. Length 13 mm, width 8 mm (single specimen examined). Shell solid, oval, with slightly convex sides (Fig. 52C). Only 1 whorl visible, forming the entire shell. The protoconch is completely embedded within the outer whorl. Apex rounded, not umbilicate. The aperture lip does not rise over the apex. Anterior end of the shell rounded. Aperture as long as the shell, wider anteriorly and narrowing abruptly at about 1/2 of the aperture length. Columellar margin conspicuously thickened, with a large callus composed of numerous tubercles. The callus occupies the posterior half of the columellar margin. Sculpture of a number of punctuated spiral grooves forming continuous lines. These lines are more densely arranged near the apex. Colour uniform light brown.

Anatomy. Unknown. All shells collected lacked soft parts.

REMARKS. — The single specimen collected is damaged, so it is not possible to provide a positive identification. It is very likely that it is a specimen of Sabatia pustulosa , but it is maintained as separate because of several differences from the specimens of S. pustulosa here examined, including a more elongate shell in Sabatia sp. with a longer columellar callus, and a shorter apical wing.
